DANIEL KIRSCH, MD

Dr. Daniel Kirsch, a specialist in Breast Imaging, graduated from USC Keck School of Medicine. He completed his radiology residency at the UCLA Medical Center, followed by a post-graduate fellowship in breast imaging at UCLA, under the tutelage of Dr. Lawrence Bassett.

He is Medical Director of the Sheila R. Veloz Breast Imaging Center in Valencia, California, and is Associate Professor of Radiology at the UCLA School of Medicine.

Dr. Kirsch authored the chapter on breast imaging in Every Patient’s Guide to Outstanding Breast Cancer Care (PutnamPenguin, 2002). He continues to publish original papers on the imaging of breast cancer, diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Kirsch is certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, AOA (National Medical Honor Society) and the Society for Breast Imaging.
